Workers from a St Neots firm raced from the east to the west coast of Scotland to raise thousands of pounds for a children’s charity.
Bright Advice employees Chris Cocksedge, Philip Chandler, Richard Whiteman, Andrew Perryman and Sarah Perryman started climbing the Scottish Highlands across the Great Glen Way in the early hours of Saturday the 15th of September.
Their 36-mile off-road cycle trip took them to Fort Augustus, before they embarked on a nine-mile kayak along the Caledonian Canal and a 4,409ft climb to the summit of Ben Nevis. The team achieved sixth place in the contest but more importantly raised £2,700 for The Mitchemp Trust, which helps deprived children living in inner cities in the United Kingdom
