Back in May 2018, some of Bright Advice’s hard-working girls participated in the MoonWalk in London. Walking an extraordinary 26.2 miles, the girls raised an approximate £1750 to support the UK’s largest grant-making breast cancer charity.
What is the MoonWalk London?
It all started in 1996 when 13 powerful women power-walked the New York City Marathon in just their bras! Their confident decision was to raise money and more awareness of breast cancer. Since then, it has blossomed into its very own successful, international, multi-million charity and the MoonWalk event has continued their legacy since. You can learn more about the history of the event here.
Walk the Walk itself involved a 26.2-mile route in and around London. Our girls took part in this wearing their awesome bra t-shirts, as wearing a bra is a compulsory trademark for the event (and charity) and is genuinely the whole awareness point.
This type of work puts a huge smile on the Bright’s team faces, as this brave achievement proves we can, as a team and independently succeed in extraordinary things … Well done girls.
We are super proud to be able to achieve such amazing things as a team – not only providing our customers with a friendly and efficient service but to raise money and awareness for extraordinary charities that mean a lot to us. Thank you for the support!
